The following awards are presented each year at the AATF-WI Business Meeting.

 

Any AATF-Wisconsin member may nominate a candidate for either award. 

 

Nomination forms are due by March 15, 2012 to the AATF-Wisconsin President.

AATF-WI Awards

The Distinguished French Educator Award recognizes an AATF-Wisconsin member’s outstanding contributions to world language education as exhibited through dedication, excellence in teaching, professional growth, including but not limited to self-education, formal education, publications and leadership.

 

Qualifications

             A. Recipient must be AATF-Wisconsin member in good standing.

             B. Recipient must be member of the AATF-Wisconsin for at least 5 years.

             C. Recipient must be current teacher of French.

             D. Recipient must be actively engaged in teaching for at least 10 years.

             E. Recipient may represent any educational level.

 

Award (The award will be $100 and a certificate.)

AATF-WI Distinguished French Educator Award

The Excellence in French Award recognizes students’ exception commitment to the study of French while maintaining honor grades in all his/her other classes.

 

Qualifications

             A. Recipient must be in or beyond their 3rd year of French study.

             B. Recipient must maintain an “A” average in French.

             C. Recipient must maintain a “B” average in all his/her classes.

             D. Recipient must be a non-native speaker of French.

             E. Recipient must be a graduating senior.

 

Award (The award will be a certificate and a $250 scholarship.)
