Concours Oral
WHAT IS THE CONCOURS ORAL?
The Concours Oral is a virtual (online) French-speaking competition open to all students of French - anywhere in the world - at all levels.
This entirely virtual competition requires students to video record their entry which is then evaluated by two judges. Students who receive two “A” ratings are awarded a gold medal. All students who participate receive helpful and encouraging feedback from the judges about their oral French.
Please see Contest Handbook for complete information.
Cost (payable to AATF-WI):
-
$8.00 per student of AATF-WI member
-
$15 per student of non-member
FÉLICITATIONS to our 2025 competitors and their teachers!
Of the 390 competitors, 276 received Gold Medals. That's an amazing accomplishment and truly a "chapeau" moment for our Wisconsin French teachers whose students participated.
We hope to include even more competitors this year. The contest is an enriching experience for our students and a breeze to administer for our teachers. If you are interested in learning more, please get in touch!
