Aligning your materials with principles of transparency and universal design increases student success by removing barriers and providing explicit expectations. You will also use open access tools, including artificial intelligence, to design activities that are relevant, promote academic integrity, and foster curiosity. As a bonus, those techniques can reduce your workload as students need fewer clarifications, meet outcomes more readily, and take ownership of their growth.
